Licensing

All residents are required to have a current medical and DEA license. DEA licenses may be applied for after you have received your medical license. There is no fee for the DEA license if it is only used in conjunction with the residency. For the medical license, residents may elect to apply for either a Limited or Full License. The Limited License can be used only for practicing medicine within the confines of the program. Residents with a minimum of two years of post-graduate medical training may apply for a Full License, which may be used to practice medicine outside of the program.
