Training Sites Teaching Electives There are a variety of opportunities for teaching electives. Teaching electives are designed in consultation with, and approved by the training director. These can include teaching on one of the clinical services, teaching medical students, curriculum development, etc. One special case of a teaching rotation is the Chief Resident rotation. Chief Residents spend at least .4 FTE of their time in a teaching rotation and attend residency committee meetings such as the Site Coordination Meeting and Resident Education and Steering Committee. |
